Castel Del Monte Aglianico Bocca Di Lupo 2014
Red DOC - Primitivo 100%, Alc. 14%, 12,000 bottles produced Purple ruby color. On the nose, cherries are released, notes of berries, plums, citrus fruits. To finish, black pepper, leather, cocoa. In the mouth it is austere with elegance, decisive but balanced tannins, harmonious freshness, long persistence finish with balsamic notes. It rests in French oak for 24 months, then refines in the bottle.
Castel del Monte Aglianico DOC Bocca di Lupo 2017
Red DOC - Primitivo 100%, Alc. 14.5%, 10,000 bottles produced Intense purple color. The nose strikes complex and intense, opens on notes of ripe fruit, continues with blueberry, plums in jam, cherries in alcohol, followed by spicy, mentholated, toasted, cinchona hints, closes on cocoa and black pepper in grains. On the palate it is rich, with velvety and lively tannins. Persistent finish on balsamic and fruity notes. It ages in French oak barriques for at least 15 months. A subsequent refinement in the bottle for no less than 2 years.
